Some primary school principles said they welcomed the decision to resume face-to-face classes in phases from 23 September, arguing that there would be enough time for schools to be cleaned, or to arrange classes, etc.

Some secondary school headmasters said that starting from 16 September, arrangements would be made for Secondary 1, 5 or 6 students to return to their schools in batches for remedial lessons and to familiarise themselves with the environment.
